CeSDAS (Centre for the Experimentation of Space Applied Dramaturgy)
It is a non-profit Cultural Association, which was founded in 2005. The Association aims to experiment and research alternative performance strategies, based on object and space dramaturgy. Legally registered in Italy, it is predominantly operating in London, where a majority of the projects have been devised, presented and documented. Since the beginning of its activity, CeSDAS has worked in collaboration with major educational and cultural institutions, according to its mission of creating collaborative projects with a young generation of artists. Including Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London), Cricoteka (Krakow), Fondazione Orestiadi (Gibellina), and Polish Cultural Institute (London).
CeSDAS operates both as a Cultural Centre and as a Collective of Performance Artists.
Main goals:
1) Research and education activities (seminars, workshops and publications)
2) Public productions (performances, exhibitions and installations), which characteristically involve a diverse range of multi-national emerging UK based artists.
